Hi and welcome back to Ria Lives Well!
Like most avid foodies, I’m always on the look-out for great food. Unlike most avid foodies, I’m a college student on a tight budget. But I can’t complain; food is a hobby of mine, and all hobbies cost a little money. So when I find something that’s delicious, good for my body and affordable, naturally I’m happier than the cliched kid in a Parisian candy store.
Most recently, I’ve fallen head over heels for Ginger Sweet’s Ginger Crisps.
I snack on these crisps all.the.time. I indulge, then overindulge, and am blissfully sent into a world of ginger greatness. Which is weird, since I’m not a huge fan of ginger, aside from ginger cookies, or as a complimentary ingredient in Asian meals. But these crisps…? They’ve made me a fan of ginger.
When I’m craving something sweet and I don’t want to ruin an otherwise healthy day with chocolate, cookies or cake, I reach for a bag of Ginger Crisps. I feel no regrets, since they’re made with natural (not processed) ingredients. Lately, I’ve also been using them as a post work-out snack. I always crave food after a work-out, and since you can’t regain the calories you just burned, I often enjoy a cool smoothie or a light snack. Lately, the only snack I turn to is ginger crisps to recover from an insane work-out. It’s a low calorie snack that’s just as easy, and affordable, as reaching for a bag of salty chips, only your body will thank you in the end.
The Taste of Ginger Crisps
I love when companies invest their time and money in quality ingredients to enhance the flavor of their product. In this regard, the maker of Ginger Crisp certainly impressed me. In a single crisp, every ingredient compliments the other, creating a subtly sweet crisp with just enough kick of ginger. Better yet, it incorporates ingredients that help to reduce sinuses. It’s an addictive snack that won’t leave you feeling guilty afterward.
Wholesome means Affordable
It’s not everyday that I can say that. Wholesome means affordable? In most cases, wholesome means spending a pretty penny and then some. With Ginger Sweet’s Ginger Crisps, the cost of one bag is less than five dollars.
Take Ginger Crisps anywhere, and enjoy!
